When someone has suffered a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or other neurological trauma, the idea of returning home after being discharged from the hospital can be overwhelming. It can be difficult to navigate around the house, communicate with loved ones, or even get ready for your day—let alone venture out into the workplace or community. Often, more time is needed to adjust to the serious challenges that arise from a disabling injury or illness.
This is why we created our Transitional Living Center (TLC). The TLC offers 24-hour residential rehabilitation, day treatment, and advanced day treatment services to suit each client's unique medical and rehabilitation needs after a traumatic injury or illness.
In this intensive, structured therapeutic environment, our therapy teams use a variety of individual and group rehabilitative strategies to maximize each patient's recovery potential. And to ensure standards of quality are met, the Transitional Living Center is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
