You’ll be in capable hands. Our Medical-Surgical Wing was designed to help surgeons perform at their very best while patients undergo a variety of procedures, including joint replacements, spine and other neurological surgeries, gastroenterology procedures, and more. Our surgical suites feature state-of-the-art equipment, including Mako™ robotic-arm assisted technology for minimally invasive joint replacements and O-arm™ and StealthStation™ imaging capabilities to increase precision during neurosurgical procedures.
Casa Colina Hospital’s 68-bed Acute Rehabilitation Wing is nationally recognized for treating neurological conditions like stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury, as well as a range of orthopedic conditions. All care is overseen by doctors specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation and includes consultation with other medical specialists as needed.
The Acute Rehabilitation Wing is home to innovative technology and equipment that have helped make Casa Colina a national leader in rehabilitation for decades, including spacious, well-appointed therapy gyms, beautiful outdoor therapy gardens, speech-language pathology suites, hyperbaric chambers, an assistive technology center, and an activities of daily living suite. Another feature that makes Casa Colina Hospital unique is our Nocturnist Program, which ensures that a board-certified internal medicine or critical care physician is always on site during the overnight hours. Provided at no cost to patients, the nocturnist physician tends to inpatients across our hospital’s 99 beds—an added safety net that provides 24/7 physician coverage, improved continuity of care, and peace of mind for patients, their family members, and referring physicians. The nocturnist also oversees overnight admissions to Casa Colina Hospital, providing added confidence that admission for our inpatients is seamless and comfortable, no matter the time of day.
