Hyperbaric oxygen therapy promotes and accelerates healing by enabling large amounts of oxygen to be dissolved into the blood and tissues. By receiving 100% oxygen in state-of-the-art pressurized chambers, patients benefit immediately from the therapeutic effects of higher tissue oxygen levels.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps individuals with a variety of conditions
by revitalizing tissues that receive poor blood flow and promoting the
growth of new blood vessels and tissue.
This program is recommended for patients with:
Our physician-led team of specialists evaluates each patient to determine whether they will benefit from hyperbaric oxygen and, if so, the duration of treatments needed to yield optimal results. Our comprehensive evaluation and treatment process aims to achieve successful wound healing and prevent amputations.
Our team includes:
At our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center, patients benefit from:
The first few minutes of hyperbaric treatment feel very much like the pressure changes experienced on a plane during landing. Yawning, swallowing, or pinching and blowing the nose will alleviate ear pressure. The rest of the time, patients can simply relax and enjoy listening to music or watching their favorite programs on an individual television.
Our team works with primary care physicians to help establish a diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as recommend ways to improve or maintain function. We welcome primary care physicians to participate in the assessment process, or we can provide the referring doctor with the results and a recommended care plan. We accept most insurance providers, including Medicare.
