Below please find the Outdoor Adventures and Wheelchair Sports program calendar for 2024. Check back frequently as trips may be added or modified.
To sign up for participation, please visit our Participant Forms page and follow the instructions to submit your application materials. Outdoor Adventures staff will then contact you with instructions on how to pay any applicable trip fees.
Transportation to all activities and events is limited and must be reserved in advance. All paperwork and registration must be completed at least 5 working days prior to your event.

Recumbent Cycling Group Fitting - Practice
Pacific Electric Trail, Upland

Orange Balloon Ride
Great Park, Irvine

The Great Park Balloon is accessible and soars 400 feet above the surrounding
landscape, serving as a public observation deck for Great Park’s
development and offering a 360° view that spans 40 miles on a clear

Wheelchair Basketball
Crowther Teen and Family Center, Glendora
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Play basketball in one of Casa Colina's newly acquired ultra-light sport
wheelchairs. Learn to play, or enhance your technical and tactical skills,
all on an indoor, regulation-sized court. Priority will be given to those
with physical disabilities.

Bolsa Chica to Huntington Pier, approximately 10.5 miles round trip. Limited

Tour of Holiday Lights

Enjoy the beautiful holiday lights on Naples Island and through the canals
and waterways of Alamitos Bay. A pizza dinner will be provided.
Inclusive Pickleball
Upland Sports Arena, Upland

Come experience this exciting paddle sport that combines tennis, badminton,
and ping-pong. Session will include a warm-up, instruction/demonstration,
doubles competition, and a cool-down/stretch period. Players will be provided
with adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs and wraps to facilitate grip
where necessary.
