At Casa Colina, we are committed to keeping our patients fit and well, even after they are discharged from their rehabilitation program with us. We strive to help them maintain the gains they made in pool and /or land therapy and achieve their own individual health and wellness goals by participating in one of three Casa Colina Fitness Programs.
All programs are offered in the Casa Colina Outpatient Center in Pomona.
Our Independent Fitness Program is for individuals who want to continue a wellness program independently or with the assistance/supervision of a family member or caregiver. You will be educated on safe use of the equipment and appropriate exercises to help you achieve your wellness goals. A Casa Colina team member will not be an active participant in your exercise program but is always available for questions and consultation by appointment. Participants are encouraged to exercise 3 times per week or more. Cost is $100 for the first hour session, which includes orientation by a staff member and development of their individualized exercise program. Cost is $40 per month thereafter, due at the first of the month.
Pool Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 to 8 a.m.; Noon to 1 p.m.; and 5 to 6 p.m.
Gym Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
Our Assisted Fitness Program is for individuals who want to continue a wellness program but are not physically able to participate independently and do not have a caregiver or family member to assist them. A Casa Colina rehabilitation aide assists these individuals. The aide will follow the exercise program as established by the individual's primary physical or occupational therapist while a Casa Colina patient. Cost is $25 for a half hour session and $50 for one hour.
Assisted Fitness Program Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The No Boundaries Program is for individuals who have suffered a neurological injury, want to continue making functional gains, and improve their health and wellness after insurance benefits are no longer available. A structured, intensive program is offered with a licensed therapy staff member. Cost is $60 for a 2-hour group session or $100 for an individual one-hour session. All individuals must be medically stable and have signed approval by their physician allowing them to participate. Participants must continue in a program that they have participated in during rehabilitation.
No Boundaries Hours: Group sessions are available Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only. Individual sessions are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., also by appointment only.
