While riding his motorcycle in Malibu on November 2, 2008, Marco Ferreira suffered a terrible crash and was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center. Marco spent three weeks in a coma with his wife, Wendy, at his bedside. The traumatic brain injury he sustained caused his brain to swell, a complication that endangered his life.
