Halloween Fun at Casa Colina!
On Wednesday, October 30th, the Casa Colina Transitional Living Center (TLC) residents brought Halloween cheer to the kids from our Children's Services Center with a spooktacular event!
As part of their rehabilitation therapy, TLC clients tapped into their creativity to transform the recreation center and courtyard into a Halloween wonderland. Imagine spooky decorations handcrafted by the residents themselves, featuring skeletons, ghosts, spiders, and pumpkins galore.
The children enjoyed a variety of fun activities, including:
- Spooky Arts and Crafts: From creating bony hand tracings with Q-tips to making funny mouths with apple slices, peanut butter, and marshmallows, the kids explored their artistic side with a Halloween twist.
- Outdoor Fun: The courtyard was alive with laughter as children played with toys, tested their aim at the bean bag toss, and chased after a flurry of bubbles.
This heartwarming event was a resounding success, bringing joy to both the children and the TLC residents. It was a wonderful example of how Casa Colina fosters a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
