Casa Colina at Rancho Piño Verde is a 31-bed facility offering respite, intermediate, and long-term residential care for individuals who have experienced traumatic or acquired brain injury (TBI or ABI) and are behaviorally challenged. Since 1989, Casa Colina at Rancho Piño Verde has provided structured and semi-independent living to meet the unique needs of these clients in a manner that recognizes their dignity and self-esteem.
Our broad client base ranges from fully dependent, non-ambulatory individuals to ambulatory, semi-independent residents who undergo continuing education at nearby Victor Valley Community College. We offer 26 licensed beds for structured living and 5 non-licensed beds for semi-independent living.
When a person experiences a brain injury, often they must relearn the appropriate way to interact with others. This is why we offer a wide range of individual and group activities—including behavioral and educational programming, wellness clinics overseen by a licensed physical therapist, and social excursions—to help residents establish healthy routines and enjoy productive, rewarding lives.
Our airy, light-filled interior spaces and well-appointed private and semi-private bedrooms convey comfort and security. Outside, the expansive 20-acre property offers a pool and spa, fitness room, stocked fishing ponds, pasture with farm animals, and more, all set amid gorgeous Spanish/ranch-style architecture. Beyond the property, the surrounding rural landscape provides a peaceful, low-stimulus environment that minimizes elopement risk.
