When someone has suffered a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or neurological trauma, the idea of returning
home after being discharged from the hospital may simply be too overwhelming. It can be difficult to navigate around
the house, communicate with loved ones or even get ready for the day - let alone venture out into the community.
More time is needed to adjust to one's injuries. Which is why we created the Laband Transitional Living Center to assist adults
and adolescents with their post-acute recovery. We offer both 24-hour inpatient care and day treatment to suit the patient's needs.
In this intensive, structured therapeutic environment, our therapy team uses a variety of rehabilitative strategies to maximize each patient's full potential. And to ensure standards of quality are met, the Transitional Living Center is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
