Our acute rehabilitation is among the most intensive therapy programs available anywhere. Our doctors will be there for
you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and licensed rehabilitation nurses will promptly attend to your needs and monitor
your progress day and night. We don't believe our patients should ever feel ignored. So, we have one nurse for every five
patients to ensure each patient receives a minimum of 6 1/2 hours of nursing services daily.
You'll work with a clinical team of professionals, including enthusiastic licensed therapists who will help you discover your true
potential. Your treatment will consist of three hours of rehabilitation custom-tailored for you, a minimum of five days a week.
Perhaps that sounds like too much in your current state of health. Actually, it's just what the doctor ordered. You see, we
only accept patients upon receiving a doctor's referral and having one of our physiatrists or a licensed nurse liaison, conduct
a thorough evaluation.
What's more, this rehabilitation program is designed to meet the criteria for your diagnosis as specified by Medicare, Federal
guidelines and insurance providers. If there is any doubt regarding your ability to undergo acute rehabilitation, you may receive
an additional consultation with our hospital's Medical Director.
