CASA COLINA HOSPITAL

Acute Rehabilitation
Inpatient services are provided in a new state-of-the-art hospital for a wide range of medical conditions that include brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke, orthopedic conditions, respiratory disorders, multiple trauma, neurological diseases, wounds and burns. Patient care is supervised by a physician specializing in rehabilitation. Each patient receives three hours of therapy a minimum of five days a week and more than 6.5 hours of licensed nursing daily.

Ventilator Weaning
An inpatient team of pulmonologists and respiratory therapists uses state-of-the-art ventilators and other equipment designed to enhance one's ability to breathe, so that patients eventually become comfortable enough to forego the need for a ventilator entirely.



OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Adult Day Health Care
This center provides high-quality day care and health-maintenance services for disabled adults.

Audiology
This center features sound booths with the most technologically advanced equipment available for hearing screenings and testing of patients, from newborns to the elderly. Services include fitting and maintenance of hearing aids as well as vestibular testing for dizziness and balance disorders.

Children's Services
Many progams are offered for children ages 1 month to 15 years with various disabilities or developmental disorders. A Pediatric Neurologist specializing in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders, oversees the program. Physical, occupational and speech therapists and early intervention specialists provide treatments in both indoor and outdoor settings designed specifically for children.

Outdoor Adventures
This program focuses on empowering people with disabilities by creating opportunities for challenging and exciting outdoor activities.

Outpatient Rehabilitation
A wide range of services are offered including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and neuropsychology. A variety of short-term therapies, psychological services and interdisciplinary therapy services are provided for people with functional impairments due to neurological or orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or disease processes.

Physician Specialty Centers
These specialty centers are designed to provide one-stop coordination of outpatient medical care and rehabilitative treatment. Our specialty centers have board-certified physicians who lead multidisciplinary teams for the assessment, evaluation, treatment, and management of people with specialized needs. These teams include physician specialists, licensed nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, certified hand therapists, aquatic therapists, dietitians, radiologists, audiologists, certified athletic trainers, and other trained professionals.

RESIDENTIAL / DAY TREATMENT PROGRAMS

Transitional Living Center
The Residential Treatment Program is dedicated to helping individuals with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, and other neurologic conditions who would benefit from participating in comprehensive neuro-cognitive and physical restoration programs. The program promotes the development of skills needed for successful home and community re-integration. The Day Treatment Program offers the same comprehensive neuro-cognitive and physical restoration programs on an outpatient basis.



RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS / LONG-TERM

Casa Colina at Apple Valley
Casa Colina at Rancho Piño Verde
These long-term, supervised residences for adults with brain injuries provide vocational opportunities on site, plus community education and recreational activities.

Padua Village
These long-term, supervised residences are for adults with developmental disabilities.

ALSO LOCATED ON THE POMONA CAMPUS
Casa Colina Imaging Center
The new center provides state-of-the-art imaging services with MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray, as well as advanced diagnostic procedures. Board certified radiologists are located onsite.

Sleep Center

Casa Colina Surgery Center
The new state-of-the-art surgery center is owned by Casa Colina and leased to many of the region's prominent surgeons who operate the facility.

LDR Neurosurgery Group
The private offices of Scott Lederhaus, M.D., Lew Disney, M.D., and Jose Rodriguez, M.D. are easily accessed on the campus.
