LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Part-Time, Per-Diem. Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation, a nationally recognized leader in the field of medical rehabilitation has an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse. This position will perform general nursing procedures including medication assistance, implementing care plans, and overseeing the general health of patients. Successful candidates will possess excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, as well as excellent documentation. One-year related experience in a physical rehabilitation environment preferred. CPR/AED is required.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL/CHILDREN’S SERVICES CENTER/ TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
Full-Time neuropsychologist positions are available at the Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation, a non-profit medical rehabilitation campus in Pomona (L.A. county), CA. One neuropsychologist position is entirely clinical, and the other is divided between clinical and research activities. The clinical activities of both positions consist of neuropsychological assessment and treatment in one or more of the following settings: a 68-bed, acute rehabilitation hospital; a 38-bed residential and day treatment facility offering post-acute rehabilitation; and/or outpatient services for both children and adults. Our patients are predominantly neurologically impaired, and include those with acquired brain injuries (stroke, traumatic brain injury, encephalopathies), neurodegenerative conditions (multiple sclerosis, dementias), spinal cord injury, and, in outpatient services, also neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, MR, LD, ADHD, etc.). In addition to evaluation and treatment roles, clinical activities include program development, staff/community education, and supervision and training of doctoral and post-doctoral students. The position with a half-time research component involves work as principal investigator on one or more already-funded projects, as well as on independently-initiated projects. Research funding and project implementation assistance is available through our campus' research foundation. Qualified candidates for each job will have, at minimum, a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program, as well as post-doctoral training in neuropsychology. Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not required. Candidates must be licensed or license-eligible in CA as a psychologist. Casa Colina offers excellent compensation and benefits packages. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Per-Diem. We currently have opportunities available in our hospital’s inpatient and outpatient and Transitional Living Center. Will diagnose problems, design & implement treatment programs & communicate with patients/families. Master’s degree in communication disorders, CA license for Speech Pathology, CPR/AED required. PEDIATRICS SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - CHILDREN'S SERVICES CENTER
Per-Diem. We currently have an opportunity available in Casa Colina Children’s Services. Must be an experienced SLP in treating and evaluating 0-3 year population, autism population and other children with learning difficulties. Bilingual skills a plus. Master’s degree in communication disorders, CA license for Speech Pathology, CPR/AED required. Applicants with current BLS may be hired but must obtain AHA CPR/AED w/in 30 days of employment.

CHILD THERAPY INSTRUCTOR/EARLY INTERVENTION SPECIALIST – CHILDREN'S SERVICES CENTER
Part-Time. This is a part-time position for an experienced early intervention specialist who has a minimum 12 units of early childhood education. This position requires having experience with a variety of developmental challenges e.g. Autism, speech delay. The Child Therapy Instructor will work under the direction of the Program Director, Early Start Coordinator and/or Clinical Facilitators (Physical, Occupational, Behavioral, and Speech Therapy). Will also assist in the development of the goals and objectives for each infant/toddler enrolled in the center-based Casa Colina Early Start Program. Minimum qualifications, must have a High School diploma or GED plus 5 years experience with children under the age of three; OR 12 Early Childhood Education units from a qualified training program and 1 year experience with special needs children; OR, an A.A. degree in Early Childhood Development. Must have a California Driver’s License with a safe driving record satisfactory to Casa Colina’s insurance underwriters. CPR/AED and First Aid is required.

INPATIENT CLINICAL DIRECTOR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Full-Time. The Clinical Director of O.T. will plan, organize and implement the continuous delivery of superior quality occupational therapy service for Casa Colina Hospital inpatient services. Responsibilities include oversight for compliance of policies and procedures, JCAHO/CARF compliance, employee competencies, assists in clinical program development and staff development. Assists with recruitment and retention, ensures timely and accurate documentation, coordinates appropriate equipment/supplies, and patient care. Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years supervisory experience working in an inpatient acute rehabilitation facility. Must have received advanced clinically related certification/specialization recognition from a professional organization. CPR/AED is required.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR - ADULT DAY HEALTH CARE
Full-Time. The Program Director is responsible for coordinating and marketing the Adult Day Health Care Program. The Director will also develop the program in accordance with the needs of the participants served within the guidelines developed by the licensing and certification agencies. Minimum qualifications, three-years experience in an adult day health care setting. Working knowledge and experience with program development, operation and promotion for the chronically disabled, frail and elderly population. Ability to interface with clients, families, and other professionals in a positive and professional manner. Must have Bachelor’s degree; Master’s is preferred in a health-related clinical field. First Aid/CPR required

ADMISSIONS LIAISON – TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
Full-Time. The Admissions Liaison will perform a vital role in the organization. The skilled candidate will have experience assessing and securing benefits for chronically or catastrophically injured individuals. A minimum of two (2) years experience in rehabilitation or health care marketing related to catastrophic injury or illness is required. Must have ability to provide education and support as well as communicate and interact effectively with families of clients in distress.

CASE MANAGER – TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
Full-Time. Our Transitional Living Center is currently seeking to fill the vital role of Case Management . The Case Manager is responsible to achieve an appropriate synchronized discharge plan for our acute inpatient rehabilitation patients. Minimum qualifications: one-year experience in a rehab Case Management or directly related field. Knowledge and skill equivalent to two (2) years of formal training or education beyond high school. Ability to communicate effectively, written as well as oral form. Possess excellent customer service skills-face-to-face and telephonic. Knowledge of medical terminology and major healthcare companies, basic benefits in regards to OPT care, DME, Home Health, SNF. Experience in a health/rehabilitation field, catastrophic case management or certification in case management, (C.C.M.).

LVN/CASE MANAGER – APPLE VALLEY, LUCERN VALLEY CA. CAMPUS
Full-Time. Casa Colina Apple Valley and Casa Colina Rancho Pino Verde are licensed adult residential facilities serving brain-injured adults. We are currently seeking an LVN/Case Manager. Qualifications include LVN license, IV certification, blood draw certification, case management experience, computer skills including Word and Excel, basic knowledge of behavioral psychology, and have a valid California driver license.

CASE MANAGER, RN or LVN – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Full-Time. The Case Manager, RN or LVN will have experience with acute physical rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility patients, knowledge of managed care are preferred. Candidates who have knowledge in Medicare PPS highly desired. The qualified individual will manage patient cases, establish care plans for team members, carry out discharge planning and resolve problems that arise with families. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT – PHYSICIANS CLINICS
Full-Time. Casa Colina Rehabilitation Hospital is looking for a Medical Assistant for our Physician Clinic. The Medical Assistant functions under the direction, guidance and supervision or an RN/LVN and/or a licensed Physician. With guidance, assists in planning, providing, and evaluating care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or commensurate experience required. Physician office experience including such duties as: chart preparation, rooming patients, taking vital signs, refilling prescriptions, answering phones, checking voicemail, faxing, obtaining authorizations and appointment scheduling preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability and flexibility to adjust and adapt to varying work schedules/loads and possess the ability to work with interdisciplinary team. Current CPR/AED required.

REGISTERED DIETETIC TECH – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Full-Time. The Registered Diet Technician will required a technically skilled professional who, under the direction of the Director Food Service, Nutritional Coordinator, & Consultant Dietitian, participates in the nutritional care of patients and families. Qualifications include Graduate of an accredited college or university with a major in dietetics, Nutrition, or equivalent; graduate of, or currently enrolled in an approved Dietetic Technician Program accredited by the American Dietetic Association. Prefer one or more year of experience as a Dietetic Technician, Registered in an acute care, or rehab hospital with supervisory responsibilities.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL SERVICES – PATIENT ACCOUNTING
Full-Time. This position is responsible for development, direction and maintenance of Business Office Services for all financial aspects of the patient’s healthcare services. As well as ongoing support/resource for revenue generating departments in regards to Patient Accounting/Fiscal issues. The candidate must have: Strong understanding of billing and credit and collection procedures in regards to Managed Care, Medicare, Medi-Cal and Preferred Providers in an inpatient , outpatient and residential settings. Analytical and mathematical skills regarding reports and patient accounts. Ability to supervise, problem solve and motivate staff. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple department demands. Ability to set up outpatient/clinic billing systems and training of appropriate staff. Ability to analyze the interface between general ledger and patient accounts. Ten (10) years experience in hospital billing, including a minimum of four (4) years patient accounting supervision. Five (5) years experience in hospital or outpatient clinic registration. Working knowledge of Word and spreadsheet (ie Excel) or word processing computer programs.

ADMINISTRATOR – TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER
Full-Time This position manages and leads the effective delivery of post-acute rehabilitation in the Transitional Living Center. Prepares and executes business plans and operational functions consistent with strategic plan, objectives and mission to assure sustained success and growth. Performs management functions of planning, organizing, directing and maintaining controls within areas of responsibility. This position requires: Bachelor’s level or higher degree in rehabilitation or related field. Community Care Licensing Administrator Certificate. At minimum, five (5) years of recent and progressive rehabilitation management experience. Rehabilitation professional required. Exemplary clinical, quality, marketing and results record. Record of accomplishment in problem-solving, team building, establishing relationships, implementing quality programs, staff development and financially successful operations.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT – FINANCE DEPT.
Full-Time - The Accountant is responsible for all phases of accounting, through financial statements, for assigned corporation(s) and joint venture(s), under the direction of the Controller. This position will be responsible for the month end closing, miscellaneous billing recap, GIL Account reconciliation as well as yearly budget forecasting and various bank reconciliation items

Per-Diem day and evening shifts. We currently have opportunities in our Respiratory Therapist department. Must have a minimum of 1-year experience working in a rehab setting and posses a current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

Our Transitional Living Center is seeking individuals with background experience in psychology or allied medical fields with rehabilitation experience working with brain-injured adults. Qualifications are expressed interest working in behavior modification program for head injured adults, CNA's encouraged. CPR/First Aide certification and valid California Driver's license and DMV printout. Good written communication a must.

RESIDENTIAL AIDES - APPLE VALLEY AND LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. CAMPUS
Casa Colina Apple Valley and Rancho Pino Verde licensed adult residential facilities for the brain injured are expanding. We are seeking persons interested in working with brain-injured adults. Qualifications include an expressed interest in working in behavior modification program for head injured adults and a basic knowledge of behavioral psychology. Must have a valid California driver’s license and a good driving record, be prepared to show a DMV report. Experienced and entry level positions available. All shifts available.

Full-Time. The Administrative Assistant will provide organizational support to the business development department. This position will help build a strong outpatient network of satellites, management contracts and joint ventures, as well as, provide marketing and public relations support. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English. Capable of safely performing functions indigenous to the position.

JANITOR, FOOD SERVICE – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Full-Time. This position will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in the food service department, housekeeping experience a plus.

COOK – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Full-Time. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for patients and our hospital cafeteria. Must have knowledge in preparing modified diets, one-year healthcare cooking experience required.

HOUSEKEEPING – CASA COLINA HOSPITAL
Per-Diem. Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. Must have excellent customer service skills. Prefer previous exp cleaning in a large scale facility
